European Otter Habitat
Fresh Spraint!
The otters spraint has a musky sweet smell which I don't find too unpleasant. It consists of prey remains which can give a good indication of what the otter has been hunting.
They are left in prominant areas alongside the coast as signals to other otters that this area has been hunted. They are also thought to be important in maintaining territories.
